The first in a 10 step guide (I will publish a new step every day for the next 10 days), this is a quick and easy to follow guide if your thinking about creating / launching a new website. It wont cover absolutely everything, but certainly enough to give you a head start.

Step 1.

Sort out your website hosting. You need to make sure it is scaleable and reliable – ie when your site grows, the traffic increases, the hits go through the roof, you dont want to be let down by reaching maximum limits or the server going down through unreliability.

Be sure you pick a good hosting company (we recommend a couple of UK web hosting companies here) that you can increase and add to.

There are a couple of web design magazines out in the UK, and each month they have a run down of the top web hositing companies. Have a read, see what services and products they offer and give them a call.
